My time spent at Woodthorpe was first class from walking into reception at 7a.m to my discharge The staff were very attentive & very pleasant all the time, nothing was too much trouble for them The room was comfortable & cool, given the extreme temperarures outside. All meals were lovely & nicely presented

I had total knee replacement surgery on 1st July. My experience of Woodthorpe Hospital was extremely positive. All the staff were amazing and I was made to feel very relaxed and well cared for pre op, during my surgery and post op. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. My room was immaculate and well equipped with everything I needed. I am on the road to recovery and now being looked after by the excellent physio team. I would highly recommend this hospital and the wraparound care the excellent team provide. Thank you so much! Alison

I attended Woodthorpe through the nhs and was treated for 2 hernia repairs. The service we received was great and I was out the same day. Follow-up care has been great too. I would recommend

I had an Endoscopy and colonoscopy procedure as an NHS patient and The whole procedure was made better by all the wonderful caring staff who kept me calm and at ease all the way through.Everyone was so kind from the minute you walk in the door until you leave. I couldnt fault the care I received as a day patient going in for my procedure.I would certainly recommend this hospital to friends and family.

I had my Total knee replacement done 3 weeks ago, surgery was perfumers by Mr Hatton. I was extremely lucky to have this surgeon he was amazing . Every thing was explained in detail and my outcome and recovery has been amazing. All staff were professional and helpful and I was extremely comfortable the whole time. I met Georgina an Hca who was lovely and very helpful and made me my builders tea !!! As we joked. Thank you to each and everyone of you. I would highly reccomend this hospital.

I couldn't have been referred to a better hospital. I had avoided having my gallbladder removed for 3 years but the damage to my liver caused after pregnancy and increased pain I knew I had to do something. Luckily, I was seen by Dr. Edward Alabraba. He sensed my anxiety and nerves a mile off and was so reassuring, professional and confident in his ability I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I had an appointment date within about 4 months of my first consultation which was incredible for an NHS patient. Last Friday, I had my keyhole surgery. The staff are incredibly friendly, the catering staff, nurses (Raymond, Gen and another lady who I can't remember her name) all great. Provided biscuits, toast, cups of tea and on time with all the medication. Own private room with a toilet, fan, TV. Just so relaxing, I can never sleep in hospitals but had no problems here. The nurse who came to collect me for theatre was a gem, I remember she had a colourful scrub cap and she said her child worked in the theatre so she knew I was in safe hands was so lovely! She knew I was terrified but did everything to distract me before the surgery including gently unplaiting my hair and saying how lovely it was. In the operation Dr. Alabraba made sure it was fully successful and went smoothly despite there being more damage than my scans at other hospitals showed. So grateful that I can lead a normal life again now. Thank you 🩷 Please send my thanks to Dr. Alabraba and the lovely theatre lady with the colourful scrub cap! ✨

I had elbow nerve release surgery. Staff was amazing starting from reception ending surgery staff and after care. Everyone knew their job well. I felt well cared. I had the first surgery in UK and I can’t say anything bad about it. Thank you to all who were involved in my surgery day!

Excellent care from start to finish. All the staff are professional, thoughtful and kind. Its not often I would say I look forward to my next visit, especially in a hospital Well done everybody 10/10.

I have been to this hospital for 3 appointments now and every time the staff have been lovely, the welcoming reception team, the friendly nurses and consultants. It is a nice clean hospital too.
