I visited Woodthorpe today to have pre procedure bloods and an ECG done. The two nurses that did this were great, I felt at ease the moment I entered the room. Thank you Liz and Becca 😄

I had excellent care and treatment here when I had a recent minor operation. From start to finish everything was dealt with promptly and professionally. I would highly recommend the Woodthorpe hospital if you are given to choice to attend there.

I have recently had EndoVenous Laser Ablation to treat varicose veins on both legs at this hospital and I could not be more happy with the support and care from Mr Braithwaite and his team. He was understanding and attentive during the consultation, explained what was going to happen in detail, and during the surgery I felt like I was in safe hands the whole time. I was abit nervous throughout, but he listened to what I needed to get through it. It's been a few days, and although I am sore my only regret is not finding Mr Braithwaite sooner. Would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Faultless from pre-op to admission and discharge. Consummate professionalism medically, delivered by the most friendly and helpful staff. I had a total knee replacement on the Sunday, (admission day) and was discharged late Monday afternoon. I’d have been perfectly happy if I’d been told I needed to stay another night! Thank you to all the Staff who made my time with you so stress free, it was an anxious time for me but I never stopped feeling I was in the very best hands. My best wishes to you all, John

As a day care patient I was in and out within 4 hours after surgery on my hand I was well looked after through out my time there and everything that was happening was clearly explained to me

Attended a few days ago as a day patient. Arrived 7am to a friendly welcome After about 20 minutes I was taken to my room which was modern and spotless Met surgeon Bazo soon afterwards and was in Surgery before 10 am. All the staff were friendly and professional Left for home before noon Follow up call 2 days later (on a weekend) Surgery has gone well and recovery as explained on the day I have nothing but praise for the whole experience

Woodthorpe hospital staff are very professional in your care, I had a full knee replacement by Mr Badie the result is I am now fully recovered with my knee movement I am very satisfied with I can walk and bend without any restrictions at all My advice is you must do your exercises as instructed and be as mobile as possible in the first six weeks by this time I was back to surrorting my self completely, the down side is its very painful but you need to over come this for the long term benefit .

Just had a endoscopy first Time without sedation was so nervous after watching Tik toks and reviews honestly lasted 2 mins and was so informative , the throat spray everyone dreads is perfect literally wears off after 15 mins super impressed with this hospital

On arrival at the hospital we were warmly welcomed and I was showed to my room, which was nice clean comfortable. All staff helpful very kind and supportive from Dr Biswas and other Drs the nurses and the catering team. My treatment plan was explained to me so I knew every step which gave me lots of confidence for when I had my procedure. I stayed 2 nights. Dr Biswas is direct and answers all questions well, informing me of what to expect and what I would need when I get home and I was happily surprised to be given a follow up appointment date letter already. I highly recommend Dr Biswas and his team. Thank you so much

My third procedure here, this time a right total hip replacement. Every single member of staff I encountered was superb. Firstly my surgeon Mr. Sachin Badhi, a wonderful professional and such a skilled surgeon, I can’t thank you enough. Forgive me if I forget to mention everyone (I may have been a little drugged up!) but special shout out to Michelle, Lucy, Kelly, “T” (I think her full name is Titenda who had a great sense of humour, especially when she caught me doing an impression of a viking invader with a wee bottle), Georgina and Francesca as well as my discharge physio (Diddy I think) who explained everything clearly and spent time with me. And of course the anaesthetist and his special syringe of gin and tonic (I need that recipe) and all the theatre and recovery room staff. Last but not least, Beverley in catering who is a really lovely, caring lady and looked after me with my food which I have to say was really excellent. Please also pass on my thanks to the chef! Great chilli and rice and perfect baked potato, Thank you all. Having said that, I’m still not looking forward to returning again for my second hip op (who would) but at least you make a serious process as easy as you possibly can and for that I am truly thankful.

I went for a procedure on my knee. Consultant was kind and professional which put me at ease. There was a slight complication with billing afterwards but was extremely swiftly resolved, initially by Theresa then by Maisie’s excellent customer service skills. If only her example could be used by others in the industry.

I was a day case for surgery on my hand. The whole process from initial consultation to post operation follow-up was on every occasion efficient and ran very much to time. I constantly felt I was in the hands of a highly effective, well co-ordinated, attentive, professional and friendly team.

My stay at woodthorpe hospital was great. Excellent room. Clean. Good food. Hotel like. The staff were great too especially nurses kelly and francesca and health care assistants georgina and sam. They attended to my every need. I cant thank my consultant mr o'boyle enough, hes changed my life. I would definitely recommend the hospital and mr o'boyle.

Overall my experience was really good from checking me in to discharge l, after having a total knee replacement I was looked after superbly the staff on the ward l, they were very kind and considerate nothing was too much trouble the HCA staff were brilliant and very caring took time to talk to me and explain a few things to put my mind at rest, would highly recommend Woodthorpe Hospital Nottingham
