We are delighted to announce that Fitzwilliam Hospital & Boston West Hospital have achieved the Bronze accreditation for ANTT® Patient Protection Accreditation Programme for Healthcare Providers.
The 4 main principles of ANTT
ANTT is supported by evidence and highlights the key components involved in maintaining asepsis and aims to standardise practice.
• Always wash hands effectively;
• Never contaminate key parts;
• Touch non-key parts with confidence;
• Take appropriate infective precautions.
The criteria for the award included having 30% percent of staff competency assessed and 50 audits completed in a 12 months period.
