My experience throughout the surgery process at Fitzwilliam Hospital was excellent. The doctor was outstanding—he took the time to talk with me in a way that felt genuine and personal. He was caring, respectful, and kind, which helped reduce my anxiety before the procedure. The nurses and the student nurse were also brilliant. They were approachable, always available for questions, and consistently reassuring. Their compassion, sensitivity and professionalism made me feel safe and supported at every stage. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, helping create a positive atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The entire surgical team was fantastic. They supported me throughout, helped to calm me before the procedure and showed great respect, kindness and professionalism. Honestly, it was a fantastic team from start to finish. A team that worked together and appreciated each other, which is so important.

This is my second visit to Fitzwilliam hospital, both times I have had a great experience. Good customer service and a good range of facilities available. I am glad that I have private health care to be able to use this service.

Sat. 25/10/25 I spent the day at Fitzwilliam Hospital as a day care patient for a second full Knee replacement. I was seen by medical staff including Mr. Jonathan White, who made abundantly clear the procedures for the day. Mr. White put me fully at ease as he did when having my first replacement. To me, a major benefit was the use of dissolvable stiches and glue. My first replacement has given me back my mobility (no more pain), second replacement is heading very much in the same direction (3/4 weeks after op.). Thank you seems inadequate for the vast improvement in my mobility and pain loss.

From walking thorough the door at 7.30 i felt at ease, as a day case that turned into a unexpected overnight stay, i was looked after by a very caring and compassionate team of staff . Nothing was to much trouble

I was very well looked after by the whole hospital team. I have had a very pleasant experience from start to finish during what was a major operation. The food was really good, the nursing care was excellent, physiotherapy was extremely helpful and the aftercare has also been really good. A very positive experience.

I had a lot of issues when recovering on the ward. I did not feel that I was listened to. I also do not think the nurses really understood the pain I was in. This has already been reported to the hospital.
