My only negative was no where to park on-site. Every space was taken so had to park outside someone's house and walk in.

Fantastic! I was nervous about cataract surgery but from the moment I arrived I felt reassured. All the nurses who gave pre-op care were thoroughly professional and kind. The nurse who stayed with me during surgery was a really lovely person (who insisted on holding my hand!). My surgeon was amazing. Made sure I had a painless procedure and made me relaxed by having a lovely sense of humour. He was outstanding and 2 days later I have no pain and am actually able to see without glasses! I was an NHS patient but at no time did I feel like a second class citizen. Thank you to all involved. Can't praise you highly enough.

From start to finish I was informed about what my procedure would be and how long it would take. On the day of my procedure my doctor came and told me he was running a little bit late and was I ok with that. Nothing was to much trouble from anyone who looked after me. So thank you.

This was my first visit to the Fitzwilliam Hospital and I am so pleased to report my complete satisfaction with my recent stay. I was treated with kindness and courtesy by all the staff, from the receptionists to the day and night-time medical team. My stay was only a short one, but pleasant enough. I would thoroughly recommend this hospital to any potential patient.

I had initially enquired via email and got a prompt response. I made contact with the hospital and the receptionist (Sharon) was so friendly and made me feel at ease straight away! Within 48 hours I had my consultation with Dr Arora; who was patient, a good listener & clearly knew what needs to happen next for me. I got more out of one appointment with her than I have with my GP surgery in the last year! I’m already booked in for a scan & feel so comfortable and confident with Fitzwilliam. As a self-funding patient, I can honestly say that so far it’s been money well spent on myself & I wouldn’t be adverse to using the hospital again in the future if necessary! 5 star service all round 😊
