  • Exceptional care during my stay under the care of Mr Blanco for knee surgery. From pre op to discharge I was treated with respect compassion and dignity. My 3 day stay was comfortable and I was kept updated in all of my care. Well done and thank you !

  • I have had both my knees replaced by Mr Clifton. One in April 2024 and the other in July 2025. On both occasions I was treated extremely well in the hospital, by all members of staff. From the cleaners, all nursing staff and indeed Mr Clifton, and the anaesthetist. My room both times was clean and bright. I recommend Mr Clifton to anyone needing knee replacements. He is simply the best!

  • All the staff and Nurses are second to none and should be very proud of themselves. Everything is run very smoothly and everyone knows exactly what they’re doing and do it with professionalism and efficiency! Everyone’s very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful during my admission.

  • Fantastic treatment and care from the Fitzwilliam hospital this week. Procedure undertaken on time, so much so that I had to wait a good few hours until my wife could pick me up. Staff were lovely, special mention to Roxy and Rachel ( there were others aswell) who made me feel welcome with nothing too much trouble.

  • My experience was fantastic!!! The service and check backs were so consistent and my nurse was an angel. Mr clifton my surgeon was incredible and explained everything i needed to know before i went it. Everyone i spoke to today were polite, softly spoken and caring towards me after my operation. The rooms were so sanitary and the food provided had alot of options and wasn’t just any plain, typical hospital food. The reviews on this place are very underwhelming as i believe this place was fantastic!!

  • I'm currently under Fitzwilliam as an NHS patient. I think I expected I might be treated differently because of this but so far everyone I've met has been amazing. This review is primarily a shout out to the Radiology Dept especially the ladies who did my recent MRI. I'm quite claustrophobic and my last two mri's in a different hospital were very uncomfortable (though the staff were amazing). This time around though was miles different. I was able to go in feet first, had earplugs, eye mask, headphones and music. They talked me through every part, told me when I'd move. Let me know when it was almost done. Thank you!

  • I had my first fkr July 2025 Mr.Jonathon White surgeon, the absolute best. I am now relieved of everyday pain. Second fkr November Day surgery, again Mr. Jonathon White, he again with his caring ways, put me at ease. He assured me although booked in for day surgery, bed available if I needed. I am pleased with outcome and loved going home same day. The anaesthetists also excellent. Nurses also. Food and staff, brilliant, I have a lactose intolerance, they came and spoke to me about dietary needs. Physiotherapists wonderful radiology and reception staff. Own room, smashing and all on N.H.S. I feel very lucky to have been referred to Fitzwilliam Hospital for all the above reasons. Thankyou everybody for doing an excellent job. Mary Hartup.😃

  • All the staff - the consultant, nurses and the receptionist - were very professional and efficient. Everybody did all they could to put me at my ease, appreciating that I was probably anxious. One of the nurses held my hand throughout the procedure, which I found very reassuring. Thank you, everybody! I would definitely recommend the Fitzwilliam.
