  • All the staff - the consultant, nurses and the receptionist - were very professional and efficient. Everybody did all they could to put me at my ease, appreciating that I was probably anxious. One of the nurses held my hand throughout the procedure, which I found very reassuring. Thank you, everybody! I would definitely recommend the Fitzwilliam.

  • The Braithwaite Suite at Fitzwilliam Hospital is staffed by an outstanding team who deliver care with warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion. From the moment you arrive, the nurses, reception staff, and clinical team create an environment that feels calm, attentive, and reassuring exactly what you hope for in a private hospital setting. Their dedication and kindness truly elevate the whole experience. That said, the waiting room within the Braithwaite Suite would benefit from refurbishment. There are visible signs of wear and tear that don’t quite match the high standard of care provided by the staff. For a private hospital, the environment should reflect the same level of excellence. Additionally, the hospital would greatly benefit from a larger car park, as parking can be challenging during busy periods.
