Duchy Hospital is proud to announce it has achieved the Bronze Accreditation for Aseptic Non Touch Technique (ANTT®), recognising the hospital’s commitment to high standards of infection prevention and patient safety.
ANTT® is a globally recognised clinical practice framework that supports healthcare professionals in maintaining aseptic technique during clinical procedures. The accreditation, awarded by The Association for Safe Aseptic Practice (ASAP), highlights Duchy Hospital’s dedication to implementing evidence-based practices that reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
The award follows a detailed evaluation of the hospital’s aseptic protocols, staff training, and compliance with ANTT® standards. Achieving this accreditation is a significant milestone in ensuring best practice is embedded across all clinical areas.
Debby Blease, Head of Clinical Services at Duchy Hospital, said:
“We are incredibly proud to receive the Bronze ANTT Accreditation. This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment of our clinical teams to provide the highest standards of safe, effective care. It demonstrates our proactive approach to infection prevention and our dedication to continuous improvement in patient safety.”
The accreditation forms part of Ramsay Health Care UK’s wider commitment to excellence in clinical care, and Duchy Hospital looks forward to continuing its journey towards further ANTT accreditations.
