  • Miss Lone and the whole gynaecology team are amazing!! Usually anxious and nervous, I had the best experience during my surgery and everything was first-class start to finish. Would recommend this clinic in a heartbeat. Thank you all ❤️🥹

  • Overall excellent regarding staff but I marked good twice because there was only one patient toilet and it felt embarrassing waiting outside the door in a busy corridor overlooked by the waiting room. Also, the floor had a lot of toilet paper scraps on it. Also, I found the waiting area to be a bit stressful as there were only uncomfortable banquette style seating. Personally, I prefer an individual chair and don't enjoy sitting right up close to other people.

  • Just been in for a knee arthroscopy. From my initial consultation with Mr Kincaid. Arranging the surgery with his secretary. Post and pre op all the staff and their care was spot on. Felt.in safe hands throughout and everyone had a smile on their face!!!!

  • I was generally impressed with the expertise and warm, caring approach of clinical and non-clinical team members. Just a couple of negative reflections: on my first night I was wearing mechanical compression socks. The pumps are so noisy it is impossible to sleep. I asked a nurse if my pump was faulty but she said that all pumps were the same and most patients lost a whole night's sleep just as I did. During the following night, I suffered from gastric issues and had to go to the bathroom three times. I reported this to the night nurse when she visited. I eventually got to sleep at around 3am. The night nurse was aware I had lost almost two nights of sleep and was utterly exhausted but nevertheless, she woke me at around 0615. A day shift nurse asked me how I was and I complained about the night nurse to be told I was roused simply because the night staff were awake and that there was no reason I should not have been allowed to sleep for longer. Disappointing.

  • All staff very friendly from cleaners, kitchen staff to nurses and doctors. Cleanliness of room excellent. Food also excellent.

  • Had gallbladder removal surgery here yesterday. Absolutely first class service from start to finish. All the staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Mr Finlay my surgeon was so reassuring and friendly. Really glad I chose Ramsay Healthcare at The Duchy Hospital. Highly recommend this hospital.

  • I had an operation here yesterday, which went very well, thanks to the great care and treatment from the staff, all of whom were very caring and professional. However, I had a query about my aftercare and trying to navigate the automated telephone system proved impossible. These systems are now ubiquitous, and they neither save time nor are they more efficient, they just save money for the company. Not everybody has the time to listen to a disembodied voice telling them how important their call is to them, which obviously it isn't. I gave up in the end and consulted Dr. Google. Just to emphasize once again, this is not the fault of the staff, who were superb.
