I recently underwent a surgical procedure carried out by Mr Anmar Al-Shawi. Every care was taken by him during my surgery along every step of the way and he explained to me what he was doing and why. I would like to thank him for this, it was most appreciated. I would also like to thank Dr Roger Langford (Anaesthetist) and Sharon Harvey (Anaesthetic Practitioner) for looking after me so well before and during my surgery and Nurse Sophie Colton for her amazing care and compassion before, during and after my surgery. It made a real difference to me, thank you.

The staff were excellent and friendly, the premises were immaculately clean and the hospital is very well equipped. The extension to the car park has increased available space making t much easier to park.

I had a consultation with Professor Tan who diagnosed the issue and suggested treatment options. He was clear and concise throughout. I proceeded to surgery and have been very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend.

The Duchy Hospital is easy to access with good parking for patients. The Reception staff were helpful and friendly, and were aware of my appointment with the Consultant. My appointment took place at the time specified, and I received a letter from the Consultant later the same day, setting out his observations and the next steps. The efficiency of the whole process was as relaxing as a hospital appointment could be!
