  • Very clean and calm with plenty of seating. Waiting times vary - in on time at first visit, 20 mins late on second visit. The one downside is there isn't the same level of equipment as an NHS clinic, eg antiseptic swabs, medications etc. Otherwise, a very amenable experience.

  • I recently attended this hospital for an out-patient appointment. My first point of contact was Elaine Cain who had a lovely manner and arranged everything for me, following up with email confirmation. The Consultant Mr Pikoulas was again lovely, very informative, thorough and answered any questions I had. Finally the staff in imaging from the Consultant Radiologist who again was lovely in her manner and very reassuring, to the radiographer who chatted to me throughout was so friendly and kind. Thank you to all the staff I encountered on my visit; every staff member I came across smiled. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

  • Buckshaw hospital is such a nice, welcoming hospital with a very calming atmosphere. It doesn’t feel like your typical hospital, it’s very clean, the staff that work there are all so professional and friendly. I would recommend Buckshaw hospital to anyone and everyone! I was treated with such care in my day surgery and the staff couldn’t do enough for me. Thank you once again.
