  • I attended as an NHS patient for a DEXA bone scan. No time wasting, very professional and friendly staff throughout the time I was there. The radiologist was amazing, professional and calming!   • Excellent, Was explained about procedure. Talked to me as a patient not at me. Asked me if I understood what the Doctor was doing. Nurse friendly not just helping Doctor but to me also. Highly recommend this hospital as to waiting on NHS list.

  • Have been under the care of oakland for four orthopaedic treatments . The latest treatments under Mr Sprott has been so amazing. His team were so caring and understanding as I had recently lost my brother . They gave me the choice of what anaesthetic i wanted to choose. I cannot praise this caring treatment I received with a great outcome. Many thanks to Si the nurse who looked after me after my last two surgeries. Cannot highly recommend them enough.

  • Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with the service I have received. I have not yet had my procedure and already struggle with mobility, so arranging transport for appointments is particularly important for me. My appointment paperwork clearly stated that my upcoming appointment was at 12:30, so I arranged transport based on this time. However, today I received a voice message appoinment reminder stating that my appointment was actually at 13:30. I contacted the company to clarify the discrepancy, but unfortunately found the response very unhelpful. I was simply told that the appointment is what the voice message states despite the paperwork I had received clearly stating 12:30. When you have mobility difficulties and have to arrange transport in advance, changes or conflicting information like this can cause unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I would expect a company dealing with patients to provide clear, accurate information and be more understanding when mistakes or discrepancies occur. Overall, very disappointing communication and customer service.

  • I attended Oaklands Hospital in August 2026 for an appointment with Consultant Dr Almerie in relation to a potential hernia. An ultrasound scan was carried out the same afternoon. Super efficient service. Thank you.
