  • The team at Parkhill Private Hospital were equally impressive. The care was outstanding from start to finish, with friendly, attentive staff and excellent facilities. I felt well looked after at every stage.

  • Attention review of hip replacement

  • The knee replacement was a success & The knee surgeon was impeccable I did forgot to mention to The Dr,, I thought I would’ve been fitted with a catheter after having an epidural, I was desperate for the toilet, I couldn’t reach the nurse bell, so I tried going to the toilet, & had an accident, I made it to the toilet & rang the bell. I didn’t get much help, The nurse mopped the urine up with a towel, & that was it, the floor never got mopped that night or the next morning. I’m suprised I didn’t hurt my knee When I was came up to the ward before The Op I gave all my medication to the nurse, she told me to take my Pregablin home as they had their own to give. When it came to the time I take them, I couldn’t have any as I had no proof I was on them even though I’d previously shown the nurse I was without them till the following day, which was a fiasco as I have chronic nerve pain. I wasn’t pleased with The original surgeon as he should’ve asked what medications I was taking & never did so I presumed I was ok to use my Metapen injection.. so I had to wait till the following week for surgery The nurse at the first pre Op assessment asked why I had come over to Park Hill when DRI had beds, I said that was the choice of The surgeon & not The nurses choice. Which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I’ve had three past surgery’s at Park Hill so that shouldn’t have mattered
