Absolutely delighted with the short waiting time for surgery ( less than 6 weeks from 1st consultation) Staff were extremely good with communication and getting back to me promptly with any queries I had. Physio staff were absolutely fantastic and was my wonderful anaesthetic who put me at ease straight away.

My consultant, mr ertimi was first class and a true gent. I cannot praise him enough. All others, and I mean everybody were of the highest standard with kindness beyond the norm. I leaked blood all over my bathroom floor, this was cleaned in minutes by a delightful cleaning lady. If you have to use a hospital this is the one. Rivers is a nice hospital. The Receptionists are welcoming and professional as are the support staff. A relaxed and calm waiting area and clean and tidy.

Never had to stay in hospital before. I was very apprehensive. Totally put at ease by all the staff. Everyone was excellent at their job. Made my stay comfortable and could relax knowing I was in good hands.

I attended the imaging department last Friday. I arrived earlier for my scans, was seen too Very quickly. Really lovely staff, kind caring and understanding of the nerves I had at the time, and explained everything to me. Friendly bunch, all went smoothly. Even had tea and biscuits. They all are great at what they do. ThankYou for being so kind and caring.

The hospital was very clean and my treatment was good, although I was concerned about being sent home less than 24 hours after a hip replacement, I was informed a week before my operation that I would be assessed as to if I needed a raised toilet seat as I had to have one when I had my other hip replacement several years ago, this assessment never took place and caused a major and painful issue at home which my wife had to resolve.
