  • My whole experience from my hip replacement surgery to my visit with Mr George after 7 weeks and my physio appointments is superb. The staff on the ward, the anaesthetist and his staff, nurses, everyone who was involved were amazing , kind and helpful. The ladies who brought the food to me were lovely too. The food was delicious.

  • The Rivers Hospital gives one a calming yet efficient establishment. It is set in lovely surroundings and is easy to get to, park and be attended to. I was self funding this times treatment, but I first attended the Rivers back in 1995 for treatment, at which time I was covered by BUPA health insurance. If I should in the future need hospital care and I can still afford it I will use the Rivers again

  • Only advice I can offer is as a patient to do your bit. The surgical, nursing and physio team are great but you will only get as much out of recovery that you're prepared to put in. It's hard to keep motivation high when in pain but keep pushing. Good luck to all.
