I had a one night stay in The Rivers hospital following a hysterectomy performed by Miss Al Farra. I cannot not praise Miss Al Farra, the anesthesiologist or the nurses that took such good care of me enough. All of the staff involved in my care went above and beyond and were so kind and caring, whilst always professional 🥰 I honestly can't thank you enough

This was my first time I had been to this hospital and I was pleasantly surprised and amazed how well run it was. I was originally referred by my NHS doctor to the hospital for tests and after an initial consultant visit I was quickly diagnosed and began my treatment. My treatment will be continued over the coming months but I have full confidence in my recovery. I would without question recommend Rivers Hospital as a place to consider for your treatment if necessary.

I’ve had many good experiences but on this occasion I’d really like to praise Anthony Alwin radiographer who has been incredible in the last 12 years, from diagnosis to perfect health & everything in between, he is a true professional expert & very kind man. Also on this occasion I’ve recently become under the care of Abdul Syed who was also very professional, knowledgable & went out of his way to help me, you can’t ask for more, Laura the breast nurse was an absolute sweetheart to me, beyond kind & caring & reception staff were lovely too! Thank you everyone ❤️

Excellent service from every dept I encountered. Polite and helpful staff could not have done more. Very professional. My appointments ran to time. From start to finish my treatment plan was very quick. Highly recommend Rivers Hospital.

Full Knee Operation on June 10th 2026 Rivers Hospital you cannot fault from start to finish. Reception 10/10, Nurses taking your blood, etc to looking after you after your operation 10/10, X - Ray Dept 10/10, Cleaners 10/10, Catering Ladies and Chef 10/10, Physio 10/10, and then my chosen Doctor 10/10. I had the absolute best experience under the care of Mr J Refson for my recent incisional hernia operation. From my first consult with him, I was kept well informed, supported and safe. His PA, Deborah, guided me through it all and I’m really grateful for that! My anaesthetist was Dr Raine, and I had an absolutely painless spinal and very pleasant experience being put under. My recovery was super smooth as well, and he and Mr Refson managed my type 1 diabetes with ease! I’d also like to that George and Judith (from theatres) and my nurse Julie for taking such incredible care of me. Julie went above and beyond for me on multiple occasions! I know I’m missing people from my review, and I’m so sorry for that! I want to give my utmost thanks to the whole team. I’m 3 weeks post op, and my recovery is going so well, particularly as a new mum! It’s because of the level of care I received from the team. My husband, daughter and I are all really grateful!

I couldn't fault the care I received at the rivers hospital all the staff were kind helpful and informative the rooms needed a little tlc but in the scheme of things it really didn't matter it was the care I received that was important so thank you all

I was treated so well on the day of my operation everyone was so friendly efficient and calming which helped take the edge off of my anxiety and made me feel at ease. I was not a private patient but under the NHS but I was treated with care and consideration by everyone in Rivers Hospital from Surgeon down to the tea lady. I couldn’t be more grateful of the treatment I received and I even had a follow up call this morning from a very nice lady asking how I was and informing me that if had any concerns to ring them and that I was under thier care for the next six weeks My whole experience was excellent thank you.
