I am a tertiary centre Consultant Gastroenterologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, holding a unique position that spans both the clinical nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) specialist teams. I also have a wide-ranging general gastroenterology practice and have been able to introduce novel treatments for common gastrointestinal disorders. I perform high-quality diagnostic endoscopy and polyp removals with excellent key performance indices and patient comfort scores, utilising water-assisted insertion techniques for colonoscopy. My training and clinical experience is both comprehensive and of the highest quality. I have degrees in both Biochemistry, University of Bristol, and Medicine & Surgery, St Georges, University of London, achieving a Distinction in Medical Sciences. General medical training was enhanced with rotations at the Royal Marsden, Royal Brompton and Royal London Hospitals. Specialist gastroenterology training has been enhanced with fellowships in clinical nutrition and IBD at the world-renowned centres of St Marks Hospital, London, and Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, followed by an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Nottingham University Hospitals.
