My whole experience from checking in was faultless the nurses were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable. My room was very nice, large television, two chairs ,on suite,wardrobe and draw and cupboard. Nice bed. The Anesthetisist was lovely made me feel very comfortable and safe. Operation went well and they all made sure I was comfortable and delta with my every need. All the staff are very welcoming and professional .Food was good. Surgeon had excellent bedside manner. Thanking all the team for my stay , and would highly recommend Woodthorpe Hospital Nottingham. My Surgey was full knee replacement. M.Savage 23rd March

I had my ghallbladder removed today at woodthorpe and I have to say this hospital is beyond top tier. The professionalism of the staff from the catering lady I saw first to the surgeons and most of all the Nurse that looked after me an absolute gentleman called Raymond. Raymond you put me at ease calmed me down and also went above and beyond to make me feel cared for and I cannot thank you enough. You are a true professional and I don’t think staff get mentioned and given the credit they deserve enough! This guy is an absolute diamond he’s also funny too! Made me smile! I have been travelling from Sheffield to Woodthorpe hospital for my treatment and my operation which I had last week. My care was excellent both at outpatient and as an inpatient last week. All the staff made me feel safe and I was reassured by their professionalism at all times. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. A special thank you to Mr Finney the surgeon who did my operation and to all the nursing who looked after me before and after the operation.

I was treated under the NHS here and have to say that communication, professionalism and teamwork demonstrated by each and every member of staff was exemplary. I felt very safe with surgical, anaesthetic and nursing teams in Day Surgery. Lovely friendly people put me at ease

Following a hip replacement on Saturday 21st March, I am pleased to be pain free and walking unaided. The care I received from the team was exemplary. A few recalled names were the surgery team under Mr N.Bhadhi, who put me at ease prior to the op, and not forgetting Anaesthetist, Chefs and Nurses/ Nursing Assistants Lucy, Sam, Nerissa and Ray who kept me in good spirits.

I had an ACL reconstruction here on the NHS at Woodthorpe hospital and found the whole service from start to finish as a patience excellent. From thorough checks before the operation, detailed explanations of how the day will run, outstanding after care from the physio, nurses and even the surgeon too. I was very nervous and stressed about the whole process but the staff at Woodthorpe hospital put me at ease. After having to stay in overnight last minute due to complications, nothing was too much to ask. Would definitely recommend. Just to add, I have also been a private patient here at Woodthorpe hospital in 2024 and I can honestly say, whether your a private patient or NHS patient, the service and after care was none the less!

I visited the oaks to have a cystoscope done by Mr Mohamed Tourky. I was very nervous when attending the hospital. But all the staff from reception to all the nurses who looked after me were great. Clare the nurse in the theatre was lovely she held my hand while having the procedure and was so reassuring. My consultant was very good at explaining everything that was happening.
