I have received excellent care and attention from initial contact all the way through to being discharged. My consultant, Will Green, is amazing in every way, so knowledgeable, skilful, kind and empathetic; he described and explained the available treatments available for my enlarged prostate in great detail, he also explained the positives and negatives of the procedures so that I was able to make a fully informed choice. The reception and administration team are so helpful too, addressing any questions I had very quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, between my initial consultations and the scheduled date of my operation, I developed some complications. I contacted the hospital and a meeting with Will Green was arranged very quickly and subsequently an Ultrasound scan was squeezed in the next day; a remedy was put in place which addressed the problem. On the morning of my operation the 2 HCAs, my dedicated nurse Raymond and Will were very reassuring and made me feel at ease with the operation that was about to happen; the anaesthetist was reassuring too! My dedicated nurse, Raymond, looked after me so well all day and into the early evening. He is knowledgeable, professional and so caring – a real gentleman! The catering team are great too; the evening meal and breakfast were so tasty! In conclusion, a very big thank you to everyone at Ramsay Woodthorpe Hospital who enabled me to get through this difficult time; I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

I am under the care of Dr Robinson Gastrology. He is amazing! Such a caring, professional and friendly consultant. I had an endoscopy earlier this week and I was so nervous. He was so kind to me. A big shout out to all of the other staff especially the nurses who looked after me. Thank you for everything.

Exceptional Care at Pine Hospital – Highly Recommend!" I recently underwent surgery for an umbilical/paraumbilical hernia at Pine Hospital in Hitchin, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the entire experience was seamless and stress-free. The staff were absolutely fantastic, starting from the reception and admission team, who made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Every nurse I interacted with was caring and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable and well-informed at every step. The anesthetic team were reassuring, explaining everything before the procedure and making sure I was at ease. A special mention goes to Mr. Lloyd Geraint, the surgeon, and his team. Their professionalism and expertise were evident throughout my entire journey, and I felt completely confident in their hands. They took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions with patience. The hospital itself was wonderful. I had my own room, which was both private and peaceful – perfect for recovery. The whole environment was calm, quiet, and incredibly well-maintained, which made my one-day stay very comfortable. The care, attention, and overall atmosphere were beyond what I expected. I’m extremely grateful for the excellent treatment I received and highly recommend Pine Hospital to anyone considering surgery. Truly an amazing experience from start to finish Thank you so much !!!! Fantastic team , could not do enough for us patients. genuingly Caring and friendly staff from reception , catering , housekeeping and the nurses and doctors . I cannot fault my treatment there and I feel my recovery will be a lot quicker and easier as a result.

I had a knee arthroscopy yesterday with Mr. Kordas & his team. I am very grateful for the great care & kindness of the anaesthetist AK (from MK😃) & nurse Jo. To name just a few. The only reason this is a 4 star rating & not 5 star is the abrupt manner of the nurse at the very end who could not get me out of a chair (not a bed!) quick enough with the words ‘we need this for other patients’. I am a private patient who had general anaesthetic & waited to be picked up which only took 15 minutes. My offer to wait at reception was declined. But thank you to all the other staff members who were lovely!

I attended buckshaw hospital today for day case surgery of ablation of my veins in both legs, under GA with Mr.Joseph …. ALL staff involved in my care were amazing! Super friendly and genuine. I felt really cared for and was very well informed the whole way through! I very impressed.

I am writing on behalf of my husband who had a reverse shoulder operation yesterday. He was really nervous about the operation after a traumatic operation as a young child. He wanted to express how grateful he is for the first rate care he received from the Woodlands hospital. From the wonderful surgeon to every member of staff who cared for him. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile by the receptionist and from then on every member of staff treated him with great care and friendliness. Thank you Woodlands!
