  • As a first time private patient I would just like to say that my experience at this hospital was nothing short of fantastic,from the surgeon,anaesthetist,nursing team,duty doctor and catering staff. I found everyone was so informative, considerate,helpful, and polite,nothing was too much trouble. So a massive thank you to you all for taking good care of me during my stay.

  • 11/12/2023 - attended for hernia. From start to finish the whole experience was second to none. Plenty of parking, receptionist pleasant and informative, medical staff (nurses and doctors) brilliant.

  • From going in to being discharged the whole experience was very positive. The staff are absolutely brilliant they are positive and cheerful which is what you want after surgery and very attentive. I would happily recommend this hospital to anyone.

  • Went in there for cataract eye operation on Friday staff very friendly help to put me at ease during op as I'm nervous around my eyes all my question s answered and nice call nxt day to make sure I was OK

  • All staff members were friendly; including reception and hospitality members, who were very entertaining! The nurses specifically listened to my concerns, and offered great reassurance before I underwent the treatment. The medical staff were excellent in explaining my procedure and possible outcomes. I felt that my treatment and stay at North Downs Hospital was important to the medical staff.

  • My husband who had never been in hospital in all of his seventy years was a bundle of nerves but of course would not admit it. On arrival at the Berkshire Independent Hospital we were greeted by a very polite receptionist who checked us in after a brief hiccup, we waited no time before we were taken to the ward . He was then greeted by two amazing nurses who treated him like an old friend and the laughter started, made him relax completely. Once all checks were done he was taken to theatre for his HoLep procedure by Mr Adam Jones ,a couple of hours later I got a call from my husband “ OMG I feel great, no pain I can’t believe that I’ve just had an operation” thanks to Mr Jones and his team he had the most amazing outcome. Post op care was second to none, from the nurses, catering staff, (great meals) cleaners. After leaving hospital he was called the next day to check that he was doing okay which was very re-assuring. Thanks to you all his quality of life has change so much it’s nice to see him getting back to his old self after only four days, so onwards and upwards from here.
