My wife was admitted for a knee replacement on 21 October. Obviously she was nervous, but the staff at Woodthorpe couldn’t have been more helpful, kind and reassuring. She was given 5* treatment over the whole process. The operation was handled so well, from the consultant, the anaesthetist and all theatre staff. And the pre and post operative care was sublime. From Raymond, Sam, the wonderful nurse with the golden tooth smile (sorry forgot your name) , the often undervalued catering staff and porters. You can rightly be proud of this excellent hospital. Thank so much.

I had an operation here last week, I was terrified but all the lovely staff made me feel so comfortable and safe. Especially Dr H Jones (the anethetist) who made me feel safe while going under. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone

My Mom was in for knee op , at first the care was second to non after my op on I had bad stomach pains to which the nurses fittedmy mom with a catheter but it leaked when fitting , I asked if the could change my moms sheet because it was wet it took 4 hours for someone to do this and the nurse on the evening shift did it she knew nothing about it . In my opinion the agency nurse that was looking after my mom let this hospital down and the rest of the staff

My husband recently attended Woodthorpe hospital and whilst there received exceptional care and attention following surgery, and after discharge due to some complications. They were absolutely amazing and the care given at all stages was second to none. Everyone was very friendly, the room was spotless and the food was excellent. My husband and I can’t speak highly enough of the care provided.
