Miss Ghadah Ahsan is a Consultant Gynaecologist in Hertfordshire with a specialist interest in Diagnostic Oncology & outpatient Hysteroscopy
General Gynaecology including treatment of menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, endometriosis, utero-vaginal prolapse, vulval disorders and menopause.
Special interests include: Diagnostic oncology, outpatient Hysteroscopy and minimal access surgery.
Treatments: Advance Laparoscopic surgery for treatment of endometriosis, tubo-ovarian pathology and laparoscopic Hysterectomy for benign pathology and stage 1 endometrial cancer. Advanced Hysteroscopic procedures including, trans-cervical resection of endometrium, fibroids and polyps. Open abdominal surgery. Vaginal surgery for prolapse.

Miss Ahsan received her basic training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen University Hospitals. She then moved to the south coast and completed her specialist training in Wessex Deanery, working at Poole, Dorchester and Princess Anne, Southampton University Hospital. During her training she completed special skills modules in Gynaecological Oncology, Vaginal Surgery, Gynaecology Ultrasound Scanning and Advanced Labour Ward Practice. Miss Ghadah Ahsan was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with special interest in Diagnostic Oncology at Lister Hospital in 2012.
