Mandy on day surgery was very attentive and supportive through my stay. She made sure I was very comfortable and then after the procedure made sure I had enough to eat and drink. I believe she also attended to my partner in the waiting area and made sure he had a drink and a snack while waiting. I found this going above and beyond with my care and my partner. Andy who helped the anaesthetist (and the anaesthetist) were very professional, supportive and helped me take my mind off the procedure. He was very talkative and made me comfortable through waiting for my procedure and just before. The Anaesthetist (I forgotten his name) was very patient and compassionate and made me feel very comfortable and compassionate through the procedure. We even had a full conversation about Jurassic Park! The ladies on recovery ward were also very attentive and made sure I was comfortable through my stay there. The even retrieved my book from my belongings. We spoke about recommendations of books. I was reading Fourth wing and they asked me about it and if I enjoyed it. My surgery team was also very fantastic. They made sure I was comfortable and kept a eye on me through out the procedure. One of them even asked me about the book I was reading! I may have missed a few people here but the whole team was fantastic and a credit to the hospital. They were compassionate, supportive and empathetic with everyone on the day surgery! They even managed to keep all the J Smith in order as there were 4 or 5 that day! So a huge thank you for the care and support I recieved during my time at the hospital.

I have been a regular patient of Mr Maury, for various knee surgeries, the last one just 2 days ago, and I just wanted to say what an amazing surgeon he is, nothing is too much trouble, he is the ultimate professional in his field and I have the up-most confidence that he is going above and beyond to help me get some mobility back. And now to the ward staff, Vanessa and Cherelle, both of these young nurses are an absolute credit to Clifton Park hospital, constantly helping and supporting me in my recovery, gentle reassurance was given when needed and encouragement when I thought I couldn't do something but they believed I could, however this was given with empathy. Cherelle and Vanessa are an absolute credit to Ramsay Health care and I will always remember how they helped, supported and gave me the confidence to get up and move. Please let these two wonderful nurses how I am so thankful for all of their help. From the cleaners admin staff, doctor's to physio, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. After going to another private Hospital in York that wasn’t able to operate on my hip until September, I was sent by my insurance Vitality to these people that gave me a date for my operation with in two weeks which was great for me as my hip was give some pain.

I have just had my 3rd operation here and cannot fault the care I have had on any occasion. Both out patient and hospital visits were carried out by staff at all levels showing care and empathy to my needs and requirements. Anyone being offered their care at Clifton Park on NHS should take up the offer, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Last year I had both knees replaced at Clifton Park Hospital in a space of three months. I could not find fault with all the staff , who were very kind and courteous at all times, Mr Lodge my consultant could not have been better, he treated me with the greatest of kindness and answered all my questions how ever silly they seemed. Also the anaesthetists were very good explaining about the epidural and the sedative and what to expect. But as I have previously said everyone was very kind. Although I was referred via the NHS I never felt I was treated as a 2nd class patient. Would recommend Clifton Park as a place for treatment.

The Outpatients department is clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did not have to wait long to see my Consultant, despite arriving early. It was altogether a much less stressful situation than it can be at large hospitals - I would be very happy to be seen there again, in preference.
