Part-Time Roles

Under the CMA’s Order, private hospital operators are required to publish, in relation to any part-times role held by any referring clinician who also has practising privileges at a hospital, a summary of the duties performed under that role and details of payments made in connection with that role.

Dr Miles Denton
Dr Miles Denton holds practising privileges at The Yorkshire Clinic as a Microbiologist. He also provides advice and clinical support and advice regarding Infection Prevention across Renacres, Euxton, Oaklands and Fulwood Hospitals. The duties connected with this role are, in summary: the provision of general Infection Prevention consultancy advice to clinical teams when required and acting as Chairman of the quarterly Ramsay Infection Prevention Committee. The payment made in connection with this role is in the region of £10,000 per annum for Renacres, Euxton, Oaklands and Fulwood Hospitals.

Dr Chiphang
Dr Chiphang holds practising privileges at Renacres as a Radiologist. He also provides expert radiology advice across all Ramsay sites. The duties connected with this role are, in summary: expert advice on radiology, assistance in progressing and optimising Ramsay’s radiology services in line with best practice, RCR Guidelines and all other necessary regulations including IRMER, CQC etc, to provide expert independent peer review and provide clinician level support to Ramsay management teams. The payment made in connection with this role is in the region of £26,000 per annum for all Ramsay sites.

Mr Jez Oakley
Mr Jez Oakley holds practising privileges at Renacres Hospital as a lower limb Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeon. He also provides advice and clinical support as the hospitals governance lead and chairs the hospital governance committee. The payment made in connection with this role is £5000 per annum.

Dr Graham Jones
Dr Graham Jones holds practising privileges at Renacres Hospital as a Consultant Anaesthetist. He also provides advice and clinical support as the hospitals resuscitation and critical care lead and chairs the hospital resuscitation and critical care committee. The payment made in connection with this role is £5000 per annum.
