I recently had day surgery at Springfield Hospital and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were welcoming, professional, and reassuring, and I felt well informed and looked after at every stage. The facilities were clean and modern, and the whole unit ran smoothly and efficiently despite clearly being busy. Aftercare instructions were clear, and I felt fully confident about my recovery once home. A big thank you to the whole team at Springfield Hospital and Day Surgery for such a positive experience.

The standard of care throughout the hospital was exceptional. Every member of staff I encountered was professional, welcoming and genuinely caring. The service was efficient and well organised, yet I never felt like just another patient. The clinical standards were outstanding and there was a real sense that patient safety, dignity and wellbeing were at the heart of everything they did. The environment was clean, calm and reassuring, which made an already stressful experience much easier. Communication between staff was seamless and I always felt informed about what was happening and what to expect next. I left feeling incredibly grateful for the high standard of care I received. The whole team should be proud of the compassionate, professional and patient-centred service they provide.

I have attended this hospital a number of times for consultations and an X-ray and have always been treated with kindness and respect. I have two cataract operations booked in August 2026 and have no worries about them. They are with a consultant I am familiar with because he treats my wife’s condition.

I had a second operation at Springfield on the NHS and I can honestly say I was treated so well every member of staff go over and above to help. The service is second to none I ease treated like a person even though I was NHS. This hospital is so clean the temperature was perfect and I had my own room other hospitals need to take a leaf out of there book every member of staff I want to say a big thank you your all amazing

My experience with the private doctor was very positive. The appointment started on time, and the doctor listened carefully to my concerns without rushing. She explained my condition and treatment options clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood the next steps.

It was very easy to park and register our car at the hospital. Every member of staff we talked to were very friendly and welcoming. It felt clean and we had a special waiting room so our baby could crawl around and play with toys which kept her happy!

Staff were not exceptional tbh. Not rude but not nice. Wait time was longer than expected but the Dr apologised profusely. Totally made up for waiting time.
