Was on a 33 weeks waiting list just to see a consultant at the NHS to get my hernia checked out could not wait that long due to the pain, getting it done private was the only option so I gave stourside gp a call and thank god they got me to see a doctor and was advised very well by DR Kumar and the staff was very helpful. DR kumar got me a date for the surgery in a couple of days at the West Midlands hospital (Halesowen) hospitality was great nurses checked up on me and made me feel comfortable food and drinks where give after the surgery and the surgery was a success! They nurses and DR kumar was happy for me to go home on the same day, the nurse did ask if I wanted to stay the night but I was happy to go home and aftercare was given to take home . Thank you DR kumar and the lovely staff at the Ramsey health care 👍

NHS patient here Stourside is great for getting an appointment with a consultant and agreeing a treatment plan, but that’s where it all ends. I saw the consultant in July and was told I should get treatment by the end of August beginning of September. I have been ringing every couple of weeks to find out what’s happening and I keep getting the same answer, they are waiting for the NHS to release the funding. I have asked if anyone is chasing this and just keep being fobbed off. I have been told my consultant has 50 patients waiting for funding approval. Surely someone should be chasing this funding. Lady tone I want I was told if I was is so much pain perhaps I should go to my GP and get referred elsewhere!!!!!!

Never knew this place before my husband was referred via the NHS. Clearly a private hospital as everything was very well appointed, no wait and very good consultation. Wish we could afford private health care!!
