  • I spent one night in the hospital in a room that had seen better days though I believe it was due to be refurbished. I had short visits by many different nurses so it was all a bit impersonal. I found the night to be very noisy, especially at 4 a.m. when there loud voices from, it seemed, a good number of staff along the corridor. Trolleys were very noisy too. Apart from that it was OK. Having been told, at a pre admission appointment, that I would be in hospital for three nights, I was very surprised to be discharged the morning after my late afternoon operation. My wife was not prepared to take on the role my carer so soon.

  • I would say do your be to look after yourself. Do your exercIses snd eat properly. The hospital is wonderful I evennenjoy my visits. Mr Glees is wonderful, too and i feel very lucky to have had him as my sugeon
