  • I had a very positive experience at the hospital throughout my treatment and surgery. The admission process was straightforward, and all the staff I encountered were friendly, welcoming and professional. The hospital was clean, comfortable and well maintained. I stayed overnight following my surgery, and the overall experience was very good. The food was enjoyable, and I felt well looked after throughout my stay. Before being discharged, I was seen by the nursing and physiotherapy teams, who were supportive and provided all the information and guidance I needed for my initial recovery at home. I’m continuing to attend regular physiotherapy sessions as part of my recovery, and this has been going really well. The physiotherapy team have been helpful in assessing my progress and guiding me through each stage of rehabilitation. Overall, I couldn’t fault my experience. From admission and surgery through to discharge and ongoing rehabilitation, I felt well cared for and supported. I would happily recommend the hospital to anyone considering treatment there.

  • My consultant, doctors and nurses were all extremely professional and caring. My room was bright and clean, as was the rest of the hospital. I cannot fault my experience at the Winfield in any way.

  • We felt slightly uneasy about my wife being an NHS patient attending a private facility. This wasn't made any easier by the manner of the receptionist. She said, in a not so quiet voice, "so you'll be an NHS patient today" for all to hear. It felt quite derogatory. Apart from that, our experience at the facility was very pleasant. We asked the receptionist for contact details to have the extra information Mr Prem Chana requested from my wife's doctor's surgery to be sent to. Mr Chana suggested it should be sent to a central portal at Winfield Hospital. The receptionist didn't know what we were talking about, so we suggested she let us have the email address of Mr Chana's secretary to have the information sent to. There seemed to be a slight disconnect in What Mr Chana expected the receptionist to know and what she actually did know.

  • The Winfield is an amazing place amazing staff. The rooms are really nice, really tidy and really clean with ensuite facilities. Can't fault anything about the care I had, A dedicated nurse just for you. A really pleasant experience And I wouldn't go anywhere else for any other procedure apart from the Winfield.
