Operating Theatres

Winfield Hospital has a modern theatre complex comprising three operating theatres all with lamina air flow.

The theatres are equipped for a wide range of surgery, including minimal access procedures. They are available for routine and emergency surgery.

Our on-site decontamination facilities have been recently upgraded to met the new Department of Health Regulations. For further information please call our theatre manager on: 01452 331111.

Wards

Winfield Hospital has 34 single en-suite rooms and 3 twin bedded rooms, digital televisions, telephones and air conditioning.  We have dedicated, highly qualified staff experienced in a wide range of specialities.

Prior to admission into hospital your patients will be advised as to how they can help prevent infection and if required, be screened for MRSA via the Pre-operative Assessment Service.

Cleanliness and preventing infection is a key part of delivering good clinical care. At Winfield Hospital we start with the basics, ensuring our housekeeping staff are well trained and have the best tools for the job to ensure patient rooms and all areas of our hospital are clean and dust free and this is personally overseen by our Ward Manager and Support Services Manager.

Visiting times are open for Premium Care patients and 3.00pm and 8pm for all other patients.
