The Ramsay Health Care online referral form has been created to allow you to refer private patients quickly via a secure website connection. This will allow you to send referrals to your local Ramsay hospital the same day for further processing. Electronic referrals will also help you to reduce fax and postage costs whilst being a more secure method of delivery than these older methods.
You can access the patient referral form via the following address. You can save this in your browser favourites or create a shortcut from your computer desktop.
www.ramsayhealth.co.uk/patientreferral
You will then be prompted to enter a username and password. These can be obtained by contacting your local GP Liaison Officer at the Ashtead Hospital.
Once you have logged onto the patient referral form the first step is to select the hospital that you wish to send a referral to, this will then direct your referral to the relevant appointments team. You can then choose to upload an electronic referral letter if you wish, although this is not mandatory.
Please fill out the rest of the referral form with the available patient information you have. Please note that speciality, Consultant and GP email address are required fields. If the rest of the information is contained in your electronic referral letter you do not need to add this to the form.Once you are you happy you have supplied the necessary information, please press the submit button.
Once you have submitted the referral, you will receive an automated email confirming that your referral has been received and will be dealt with. The following process will now take place:
1. Referral sent by GP via Secure connection
2. Referral received by appointments team
3. Auto email response delivered
4. Appointments department will check incoming referrals twice daily for new referrals
5. Appointments department to process information through to booking
