Meet The Tees Valley Hospital Physiotherapy Team

Miss Jacqueline Allport

I am a physiotherapy technician, working alongside physiotherapists in the hospital. In outpatients, we lead specialist classes for Total Knee Replacement patients and I monitor and instruct patients whilst they perform exercises in the class. I also complete relevant admin and booking tasks to ensure smooth running of the classes. On the ward, I work with patients, familiarising them with the information booklet specific for Hip and Knee replacements and teach and practise the relevant post operative exercises with them. I also assist physiotherapists on stair assessments with patients to facilitate safe discharge.
