Went in for a circumcision and all went well! I have a natural tolerance to the local anaesthetic but the surgeons made sure to top me up when I felt any pain coming back! Couldn’t have asked for a better team to operate on me! The room I had been provided for my stay was 10/10, felt like a hotel suite! Would definitely be looking to go there again in the future regardless of under NHS or paid treatment

I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the care I received. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely looked after, listened to, and respected. Dr Malkei was truly exceptional — not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also one of the most caring and attentive individuals I’ve ever encountered in a medical setting. He took the time to really listen, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease throughout. It’s rare to come across someone who combines such expertise with such genuine compassion, and it made all the difference to my experience. The nurse Katie was equally wonderful — warm, kind, and reassuring from start to finish. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and supported, and her friendly, calm manner immediately put me at ease. Together, they made what could have been a stressful experience feel completely manageable and even positive. I left feeling not only well cared for, but truly grateful. Without a doubt, the best medical care I’ve ever received. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart

Re: Hernia Repair. Having recently ( 19.02.2026 ) undertaken a Hernia Repair operation at West Midland Hospital, i am full of praise for all involved. From the moment i was met by the receptionist, the the nurse, the Sister in charge, the anaesthetist, the surgeon, the catering staff, everyone involved from start to finish were very warm and welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, kind, caring, compassionate and friendly. I was made to feel comfortable and at ease every step of the way. Without hesitation i thoroughly recommend 100% the West Midlands Hospital and their wonderful staff. A huge thank you to all involved at every level.

I had a hip replacement last year at Halesowen..The theatre staff were first class..I have been there before the rooms are lovley and the staff friendly nothing was too much for them all very professional from start to finish.. the food well what can I say from breakfast to lunch to evening meal it was beautiful I had the salad 🥗 and it had plenty of meat and eggs 🥚. So the is no need to complain about the food its delicious 😋better than some hotel's...

Move it or Lose it exercise class. This is a very good class with physiotherapist Nicky Green at the West Midland Hospital, Colman Hill site. It is open to the public and runs on a Tuesday and Thursday. It is reasonably priced at £8 per class, or £40 for 6 classes. You are working with an experienced physiotherapist who is dedicated to helping people. You only have to ring the hospital to book. I would recommend this class not only to people with replacement joints but to everyone to keep your strength and mobility at its best.

I had a right side hip replacement end of October my consultant Mr Kenan Dehne was just fantastic from the initial consultations right through to the operation he really looks after you the care i received at west Midlands hospital was brilliant from admission to discharge nurses physiotherapy and catering staff were all lovely so kind i would just like to thank everybody.
