I visited Glendon Hospital in Kettering for the first time after being referred by my GP, and I can’t praise the staff enough. From the moment I arrived, the lovely blonde lady on reception made me feel so welcome. She was friendly, kind, and instantly put me at ease. I was extremely nervous about my appointment because I’d previously had a really bad experience at another hospital having the same scans (an ultrasound and transvaginal scan). However, Charlotte was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She made me feel so comfortable, reassured me throughout, explained everything clearly, and kept checking that I was okay every step of the way. She was so easy to talk to, and her kindness and reassurance completely changed the experience for me. We even had a lovely laugh together, and by the end of the appointment it honestly felt like I was chatting with a friend rather than being in a hospital. The lady who carried out my ultrasound was also so lovely and professional. Unfortunately, I can’t remember her name, but she was kind, gentle, and helped make the whole experience as comfortable as possible too. Thank you all for turning something I had been dreading into such a positive experience. The care, compassion, and professionalism shown by everyone I met were outstanding. Glendon Hospital is incredibly lucky to have such wonderful staff, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. ❤️

Many thanks to Mr Palial and his team in the operating theatre for my Carpal Tunnel operation on 26 May 2026. I feel amazed by their expertise and professionalism with kindness throughout the whole procedure . I also had a wonderful experience during the waiting period despite some delay which was quite normal, but I was spoiled with care and attention from the nurses and staff who looked after me and kept checking on me the whole time to make sure I am OK and comfortable. In fact, I am really enjoying my time there, reading my book and staying out of the heat on the hottest May day. Overall, I felt extremely thankful and greatly appreciated being placed under your care.

I have had treatment at Glendon Wood Hospital several times over the last few years. It is my first choice. I have always found the facilities, staff and treatment to be absolutely top notch. Ample time is given for questions and any concerns and answers are always helpful and informative.

I recently visited the hospital for a procedure and the staff were absolutely incredible. The nurse that sat with me and took care of me during my procedure was absolutely fantastic. She made me feel relaxed and made sure I was comfortable at all times. She truly was incredible and is an absolute credit. All the staff were amazing at being caring, compassionate and thorough. Constantly keeping me informed the entire journey. I would certainly recommend Glendon Wood Hospital to anyone.

I came to this hospital for an endoscopy. The team were welcoming and professional and they helped keep me relaxed from start to finish. The facilities were spotless and the appointment was smooth and well managed. I left feeling well cared for and properly informed.
