Ramsay Health Care UK has invested £1.85 million into the second operating theatre, consulting room, additional recovery bays and refurbishment of the reception and waiting area at Boston West Hospital, further improving hospital capacity, patient care and strengthening services for the community.
To commemorate the opening, the hospital welcomed the Mayor of Boston Borough, Barrie Pierpoint, together with Alison Fairman from the Boston Heroes Awards, who joined staff in officially cutting the ribbon to open the new facility.
This development follows Boston West Hospital’s recent ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Inspectors praised the hospital for its exceptional standard of care, noting the kindness, empathy and compassion shown by staff, as well as their strong respect for patients’ privacy and dignity.
Together, the CQC achievement and the opening of the new operating theatre highlight the hospital’s dedication, hard work and unwavering commitment to providing safe, effective and compassionate care
Following the visit, Mayor of Boston Borough, Barrie Pierpoint said:
