We are delighted to announce the appointment of Miss Sabeen Akhtar as the new Group Medical Director at Ramsay Health Care UK— a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and collaborative leadership.
This pivotal appointment reflects not only the exceptional talent within our organisation but also our dedication to strengthening productive partnerships across our clinical community. Sabeen’s leadership marks a new chapter in the evolution of our medical leadership team, reinforcing our multidisciplinary, patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery.
Sabeen is a highly respected and accomplished medical leader with over 24 years of service in the NHS and nearly a decade at Ramsay UK. As a practising Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, she brings invaluable frontline clinical insight, supporting our ongoing goals to enhance patient care, professional development and medical governance.
We are also pleased to announce that Dr Rob Parry, our Responsible Officer, will be increasing his time with us. This further reflects our commitment to improving collaborative working and strengthening doctor governance. Rob’s deep experience in medical leadership and his unwavering focus on quality will help foster an even more cohesive and high-performing clinical environment.
Together, Sabeen and Rob will continue to work closely with operational teams and consultant colleagues, championing best practices and driving innovation in patient care.
