Ramsay Health Care UK was proud to join the vibrant celebrations at Leeds Pride, standing alongside our colleagues, patients, and the wider community in a powerful show of love, acceptance, and unity.
Each year, more of our colleagues come together to participate in Pride events across the UK, reflecting our growing culture of allyship, inclusivity, and support for the LGBTQ+ community. This commitment is embedded in our values and central to the way we foster an environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated.
Lisa Jefferies, Chief People Officer at Ramsay Health Care UK, reflected on the significance of this year’s celebration:
“Celebrating Pride was more than just a celebration it was a powerful expression of unity, inclusion, and visibility. It gave us a chance to reflect on the progress made and the work still to do in creating truly equitable spaces, both in and outside the workplace.
What made this year especially meaningful was the growing number of colleagues who came together to take part. Their visible support and shared enthusiasm spoke volumes about our collective commitment to inclusivity and the kind of workplace culture we’re building. One where everyone feels empowered to show up as themselves.
It was a joyful, energising event that brought our team together in a way that felt genuine and uplifting. I’m incredibly proud to have shared in such a meaningful experience."
By participating in Pride, Ramsay Health Care UK continues to champion equality, celebrate diversity, and strengthen our workplace culture — ensuring that both colleagues and patients feel supported and respected for who they are.
