Ramsay Health Care has partnered with Doctor Care Anywhere to offer fast and convenient access to online private GP appointments, available at a time that suits you, all for an affordable £39.50.

Patients under the age of 18 cannot book a Virtual GP appointment directly.

Please note that diagnostic tests and scans (such as X-ray, MRI, or CT) cannot be booked directly through this service. However, the service can provide a referral to a consultant, who will arrange any necessary tests and ongoing investigations.

If your GP believes you would benefit from seeing a consultant or specialist, they can provide an open private referral letter. Please note that this referral cannot be used to access NHS services in the UK. Referral letters can be sent directly to Ramsay Healthcare with your consent or emailed to you to choose your private health provider.

If you have private medical insurance, you should contact your insurer before arranging an appointment with a consultant or specialist, or before undergoing any diagnostic tests or treatment, unless you are self-funding. Please be aware that a referral letter does not serve as authorisation for private medical insurance claims.

Most patients receive the advice, reassurance, and—where appropriate—a diagnosis they need from our doctors. However, if your symptoms require a physical examination, you may be advised to see your own GP. This service is designed to complement, not replace, your regular GP.

This service is delivered by Doctor Care Anywhere, who will also process payment. By booking an online GP appointment, you agree to Doctor Care Anywhere’s terms and conditions and privacy policy.

You must be aged 18 or over and currently resident in the UK to use this service.

Each consultation is intended to address a single health concern.

Where appropriate, the clinician may issue a private prescription. However, prescriptions cannot be provided for controlled drugs or where consent has not been given to share relevant information with your NHS GP.

This service is generally not suitable for repeat prescriptions, as it does not offer ongoing continuity of care.

If needed, the clinician can provide an open private referral letter for specialist care. This type of referral can be used with any private consultant.
