The Braithwaite Suite at Fitzwilliam Hospital is staffed by an outstanding team who deliver care with warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion. From the moment you arrive, the nurses, reception staff, and clinical team create an environment that feels calm, attentive, and reassuring exactly what you hope for in a private hospital setting. Their dedication and kindness truly elevate the whole experience. That said, the waiting room within the Braithwaite Suite would benefit from refurbishment. There are visible signs of wear and tear that don’t quite match the high standard of care provided by the staff. For a private hospital, the environment should reflect the same level of excellence. Additionally, the hospital would greatly benefit from a larger car park, as parking can be challenging during busy periods.

The whole experience was very smooth. Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. Car park very close to entrance. Friendly staff at the main reception desk.

The process of booking the appointment was quick and easy. The hospital was clean and bright and staff were friendly. We waited quite a long time past our appointment time but once we were seen our appointment was thorough and not rushed.

I had to wait for the appointment for over a year on the waiting list. Once my appointment had come through the actual visit was very good. I was seen quickly in the department and a scan was booked quickly as well. The scanning department was very friendly and they had a good bedside manner as did the consultant.
