Wonderful caring and hardworking staff from every department, I feel so lucky to have had my recent spinal surgery here, I cannot fault the care I had, it was outstanding!! Had a shoulder muscle/tendon repair one week ago. I was nervous about getting the surgery done here as my wife has had two bad surgical experiences there in past years. One failed hip replacement,and one carpal wrist repair, All went well though right through from consultant to nursing,theatre staff,and physio dept. so far cannot praise them enough.as recovery progresses.

Mandy on day surgery was very attentive and supportive through my stay. She made sure I was very comfortable and then after the procedure made sure I had enough to eat and drink. I believe she also attended to my partner in the waiting area and made sure he had a drink and a snack while waiting. I found this going above and beyond with my care and my partner. Andy who helped the anaesthetist (and the anaesthetist) were very professional, supportive and helped me take my mind off the procedure. He was very talkative and made me comfortable through waiting for my procedure and just before. The Anaesthetist (I forgotten his name) was very patient and compassionate and made me feel very comfortable and compassionate through the procedure. We even had a full conversation about Jurassic Park! The ladies on recovery ward were also very attentive and made sure I was comfortable through my stay there. The even retrieved my book from my belongings. We spoke about recommendations of books. I was reading Fourth wing and they asked me about it and if I enjoyed it. My surgery team was also very fantastic. They made sure I was comfortable and kept a eye on me through out the procedure. One of them even asked me about the book I was reading! I may have missed a few people here but the whole team was fantastic and a credit to the hospital. They were compassionate, supportive and empathetic with everyone on the day surgery! They even managed to keep all the J Smith in order as there were 4 or 5 that day! So a huge thank you for the care and support I recieved during my time at the hospital.

I returned home two days ago following an overnight stay after a full hip replacement. I feel so lucky to have experienced exemplary care and attention from all staff at the Yorkshire Clinic. From the moment of admission I was made to feel welcome. The variety of nurses tending to me throughout my stay were all fantastic. My original anxiety disappeared, and the anesthetist was brilliant, putting me at ease throughout. Mr Bobak (consultant) couldn't have been nicer, inspiring confidence throughout. Nothing is too much trouble for the nursing staff who truly were angels. Thank you to everyone I came into contact with for your professional services, making me feel "special

The hospital is clean and modern. The staff were all respectful and courteous. Booking using Bupa insurance was easy and straightforward. There was parking for my blue badge.

My hip replacement was my very first surgery at the age of 62 so I was very nervous and apprehensive about the operation. All of the staff from the surgeon,anaesthetist,nursing staff to the canteen staff were always polite and helpful. Someone would always respond to the buzzer If I needed anything. The physio team were very supportive and encouraging

Really positive experience here after no support from GPs. Kind Radiography staff who helped me get past my claustrophobia to have an MRI having not managed one elsewhere previously. Very clear diagnosis of what the problem is from Mr. Karpe who explained it all clearly and what I need to do to manage issue.

I had a breast reduction done here and it’s been such a positive experience. I was looked after by so many nice, kind people. I wish I knew all of their names, I got a a few names though. The anaesthetist, Jennine Ratcliffe was just so lovely, always smiling and making you feel good. Jossy, one of the many lovely nurses was so friendly, warm and kind, we had so many chats whilst she cared for me. Roxanne was another , she was lovely and always so happy. David the doctor, all the porters that I saw, the catering staff that came to my room, everyone that I met made it a lovely experience for me. My surgeon was Anthony Barabas, a wonderful surgeon and such a kind compassionate man. I was very comfortable in a nice room too.Thank you to ALL the nurses and everyone that made it nice for me.
