I had the absolute best experience under the care of Mr J Refson for my recent incisional hernia operation. From my first consult with him, I was kept well informed, supported and safe. His PA, Deborah, guided me through it all and I’m really grateful for that! My anaesthetist was Dr Raine, and I had an absolutely painless spinal and very pleasant experience being put under. My recovery was super smooth as well, and he and Mr Refson managed my type 1 diabetes with ease! I’d also like to that George and Judith (from theatres) and my nurse Julie for taking such incredible care of me. Julie went above and beyond for me on multiple occasions! I know I’m missing people from my review, and I’m so sorry for that! I want to give my utmost thanks to the whole team. I’m 3 weeks post op, and my recovery is going so well, particularly as a new mum! It’s because of the level of care I received from the team. My husband, daughter and I are all really grateful!

I had a total knee replacement yesterday 4.02.26 and I already feel that the improvement is significant. Before surgery, pain and stiffness affected my daily life. The operation went smoothly and the hospital staff was very supportive. I had a privilege to meet a brilliant staff , consultant Mr. Shah who operated me, Ionut Trifu pharmacist, Alexandru D and George N nurses, who overwhelmed me with a lot of attention and professionalism. Overall all staff is very well trained, polite and empathetic with the patients. I strongly recommend the Woodlands Hospital Kettering for all peoples who want to be treated at the highest level of professionalism. Well done! I recently attended the clinic for knee replacement surgery. The staff are exceedingly caring and it has good facilities. I was looked after in a single room with ensuite bathroom and my care was funded by the NHS. After checks and a review , i was able to leave for home the following day with follow up appointments made and with more than enough medication until i am due to return. I attended a physiotherapy session beforehand and the same physio team looked after me and got me walking before my discharge, i will be returning to see them as well as my consultant in the next couple of weeks. The food was of a good quality and very appetising and plenty of tea coffee availible throughout my short stay. If you have a choice of where you have your surgery, i would suggest the Yorkshire Clinic because it sets a standard that i would like to see within the NHS.

Today I returned to have my mri. As I attempted to have it a few weeks prior. Unfortunately due to claustrophobia and panic disorder I couldn’t do it. I rebooked and I went to my psychiatrist who prescribed something for me to take before hand and was also able to have my mother sit with me. All was successful and the scan was completed. I genuinely cannot thank the Radiology team enough. On both occasions they constantly reassured me. Took their time and were so kind to me. Sometimes people do not understand these difficulties and can be quite frustrated or short with me. But so far from that with these guys. Thank you all so much for being so lovely and so supportive

My wife Christine went to see Dr Chan yesterday as she loves the sun and wanted a full skin check. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly and Dr Chan was amazing. She meticulously checked over every inch of her body and, thankfully, she was all clear of anything nasty. She then went on to explain that she could tie some annoying skin tags and also freeze a few smaller ones. At every step Dr Chan explained the process and gave full instructions about what to expect when we left. The whole process took around 30 minutes and my wife came out raving about Pinehill and the service she had received. The #225 price tag for a full body check is a small price to pay for reassurance and peace of mind. We highly recommend!

I had a problem post menopause and was concerned. My GP referred me to see Mr Salvesen using my private medical insurance. Following some investigation `Mr Salvesen was 95% sure there was nothing to worry about but he said "I'm not happy with 95%, I was 100%!". I then went for a scan that confirmed all was fine. I was treated efficiently and courteously at every stage and highly recommend Mr Salvesen and his team at Pinehill. I like the 'I'll keep going to make sure there's nothing wrong' approach.

Ample free parking which dosent sound a lot but eliminates the first stress you normally encounter. From reception to discharge, I cannot thank the caring, professional, informative, patient and very personable staff enough. For a nervous patient going through new procedures, I found the whole process 10 out of 10.

I have been at this hospital for two knee replacements and then some additional surgery for ITB release, under the care of Mr Anthony Helm. I could not speak highly enough about the kind supportive staff. They were absolutely fantastic each time. From the theatre staff, surgeon, cleaning staff to the physio team, they literally could not do enough especially when you are feeling pain and feeling low. They come in and greet you with big smiles and welcomes. Would highly recommend this hospital.

I was in hospital as a day patient yesterday and could not fault this hospital at all. Everybody from reception booking in to being shown to my room and prepared for my operation was exceptional. Everything was very well explained to me by everyone including my anaesthetist and Mr Viswanath who performed my operation and would certainly recommend him and the hospital if you are given the chance to have treatment here. Well done everybody keep up the good work in making this hospital the excellent place it is!
