Day patient for hand surgery. Consultant & anaesthetist explained procedure. Nurses, support staff extremely good, excellent interpersonal skills. Must have been last on the list as 7am admission with surgery at noon. Ongoing appointments for wound & physio. Really pleased with results so far.

Felt like I totally trusted the care I got whilst having an operation in may2026. Treated with kindness and respect throughout the hope process . Everything explained clearly and felt confident about the op whilst there. Lead up to operation (pre ops etc) was quick with good communication/written information sent to read before going ahead. Had surgery recently for knee replacement, I was treated with dignity and respect throughout my stay, I was hot in bed on an evening and the healthcare assistant got me a fan, I was so relived and couldn’t thank her enough, consultants, nurses, anethesist reception staff and porters all well mannered and caring people that relived my anxieties throughout my stay, I would highly recommend this hospital

Just had an operation at the woodthorpe hospital 01/06/26 stayed a few days had my own room that was lovely bright and clean and the nursing staff and health care staff were amazing, especially gen who was lovely.the food was delicious I recommend the soup as a starter my compliments to the chefs and lovely kitchen staff ,my surgeon was Mr biswas he talked me through everything every step of the way and after the operation, also the anaesthetist staff so thank you for taking great care of me ..

My time in woodthorpe hospital was very good from admittance through to recovery. All the staff were helpful and very pleasant and couldn't do enough no matter what time of day or night you asked for assistance. The room was light , bright and clean meals were of a good standard tailored to the surgery 👌 I was in 3days and when I was discharged the same standards were maintained, I was given everything to start recovery at home. All in all I was very pleased with the treatment I received throughout.

I had a Total Knee Replacement. The care and attention I was afforded was second to none. Every staff member I came into contact with treated me with dignity, kindness and understanding.
