I had surgery on 27th February to have my gallbladder removed, This was my first time having any surgery, it was performed by Mr Alabraba who in my opinion is fantastic, right from my first consultation, he was very informative of what the operation would entail and my recovery, very friendly on the day which put me at ease, I was also very well looked after by my nurse Kayleigh who again was so friendly, attentive and chatted to me which made my anxiety so much better, I am now a week on from my surgery and had very little manageable pain, Thank you so much to both of you.

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone at New Hall Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion during my spinal surgery this week. I felt so safe and looked after throughout my whole journey at New Hall, and am incredibly grateful to every member of staff who took such good care of me - from the moment I arrived at Reception to the moment I went home. I just wish I could remember everyones names so that I could thank them personally. I can 100% recommend New Hall Hospital to anyone trying to decide which hospital to choose.

I recently had a hernia repair at Woodthorpe Hospital and couldn’t be happier with the care I received. From start to finish everything was very well organised and the hospital itself was clean, calm and welcoming. Mr Alabraba and the whole team were outstanding; professional, reassuring and took the time to explain everything clearly, which helped put me at ease. The nurses and staff were also very kind and attentive throughout. I felt genuinely well looked after and very grateful for the excellent care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Woodthorpe Hospital to others.

I came yesterday as an afternoon case, for Bilateral Greater Occipital Nerve Block injections for migraines with Dr Harry Soar, Consultant Anaesthetist. I am self- funding. The hospital is very clean and the waiting areas and cubicles are quiet, with no television or radio blaring out. The nursing staff put me at ease, as I was extremely on edge, having migraine on the day. Dr Soar is absolutely lovely - friendly, professional and explained everything. The pain of the injections was minimal. I was a bit dizzy afterwards, so a lovely nurse led me back to Reception area. My total time there was 2.5 hours (a bit longer than I'd expected, as I was suffering with migraine).

Just had a full knee replacement and would like to thank Mr Bhadi and all the staff for there most professional and efficient care, I fell more like a guest than a patient from start to finish they put me at ease and nothing was to much trouble. The facilities at Woodthorpe are wonderful more like a hotel. There caring professional pain management made what could be a daunting experience bearable. . 4 days post op and I can feel the benefit already. Highly recommended.

I was admitted as a day case for a planned Trapeziectomy and was very happy with my care during the day. Everyone took the time to explain everything and special thanks to the anesthetist who really put me at ease and to Michelle who made me laugh. The surgeon Michael Gale spent time with me beforehand to ensure all my questions and concerns were answered. I had a lovely room and was checked on regularly after i was back from recovery. My discharge was delayed a bit and I felt I wasn't kept informed much during that time, also I was advised that the hospital would call me at home a few days later to ensure i didn't have any problems. A week later I've had no call, although fortunately I've had no problems. Despite this blip I'm very happy with the hospital.
