Just recently had a total hip replacement and I received excellent care from all the staff from theatre staff, nursing care, physio, pharmacy, outpatients, xray, housekeeping. It was 5 star service. Not only the care and attention I received. The choice of food and it was so nutritious was excellent. THANK YOU

Got a phone call on the way home after being told the MRI would be scheduled within a few days by Nitin, only to ask me to come back if I have the time to get it done the same day. Excellent service, super friendly the team that conducted the MRI

Very well run efficient hospital. The physios are excellent in particular (but it would be helpful after discharge home if they said what the essential exercises were in the early days. I thought they wanted me to do lots of different ones but it was too painful to do so. I had to ring for advice for what I had to do). I would go back to the Winfield if I needed further care.

I saw a very helpful consultant, who recomended, treatment!... "hip injection" *** Update *** I had the treatment today, and I was amazed by the fact, it was completely pain free! I'd been told that I'd need to be sedated, which meant I wouldn't be allowed to go home, where I currently live alone... But I didn't have sedation just localised anesthetic injections, and as a result i was discharged within half an hour! Very pleased! 🙂

From arriving to hospital on Wednesday am, to leaving on Friday noon, all the staff I came across during my stay I must say have been absolutely amazing. Special thanks to two in particular Claudia ( nurse on ward one) and Arif the physio who managed my pain when pain killers weren’t hitting the spot. They both got me back on track and assisted me in getting discharged on Friday.

I suffered from frequent bladder infections from the age of 10, often getting them at least once a month. For over 10 years, I was repeatedly prescribed antibiotics, but no one ever tried to investigate the underlying cause. My condition became so severe that I spent most of my time in bed. I had to constantly monitor what I drank, as even the smallest thing could trigger another infection, while everyone around me could live normally without worry. It was physically exhausting and mentally draining. From my very first consultation, Dr Syed took me seriously in a way no one ever had before. He listened, investigated properly, and gave me hope that things could finally change. I am now on my 10th bladder instillation treatment with him, and the difference is life-changing. I feel like a completely different person. For the first time in years, I can live normally without constant fear or restriction. My physical health has improved beyond what I thought was possible, and just as importantly, my mental health has improved too. I finally feel free from something that controlled my life for so long. I cannot thank Dr Syed enough for his professionalism, care, and determination to find a real solution. He has genuinely changed my life.
