Had my second cataract procedure yesterday and again the whole team under Mr Orlans was great but I wanted to highlight Bev, one of the nurses, who was helpful and cheerful during my short stay, who even followed up after I had left the hospital.

I have just had a total right knee replacement at the Woodlands hospital. I cannot fault the whole medical experience, the care and attention throughout has been superb on all professional levels. From the consultation, through the admissions procedures, pre assessments, operation, nursing care, physiotherapy and medicinal support has all been simply the best! My only criticism has been to improve the hot food provision.

I travel some distance to visit the hospital (circa 90 miles round trip) as I wanted to stay under the care of my consultant as an NHS patient. It's worth the travelling, not just to stay with my consultant (have been under his care since 2019), but because it's a great hospital service. All the staff are courteous and helpful. I've received treatment on a few occasions over the years and each time it has been a good experience from booking in at reception, all the way through to attendance in a theatre environment where a team of staff assist in administering the procedures. I've had an MRI scan this week and that went very well, the MRI Technicians were brilliant and answered the questions I put to them. On all previous procedures I've received, the team of staff that looked after me from booking-in and doing pre-procedure checks, to the theatre team and consultant have been brilliant. They are there to help with any questions and keeping any fears or worries to a minimum. Once the procedure is completed, the nurses looking after me and organising the discharge details are brilliant too. A slight downside is the shortage of parking spaces at peak times - but sometimes it's just a case of being patient while a space becomes available. I would recommend this hospital as it offers a great environment with a great team of staff !

The staff were excellent and friendly, the premises were immaculately clean and the hospital is very well equipped. The extension to the car park has increased available space making t much easier to park.

All the staff especially the nurses were so nice and very helpful walking you through all steps of procedure without one of them who was on my head reminding me to breath and explaining what’s happening I wouldn’t have done it without him I would like to say thank you so much

I would highly recommend Rowley Hall Hospital. From start to finish, the staff were friendly, caring and professional. Well organised and I felt I was in safe, capable hands. The level of care and attention was excellent. Thank you to the whole team for making such a positive experience.
