  • I highly recommend Mr. Mahaluxmivala and the teams at The Rivers Hospital. He performed my second total knee replacement (TKR) in September 2025, eight years after a successful first TKR. Both surgeries allowed me to continue a demanding police career until retirement and other challenging roles afterward. A highly respected professional, Mr. Mahaluxmivala listens carefully and explains options clearly. At 66 and 10 weeks post-surgery, I am pain-free and enjoying cycling, walking, and sailing. The physio joint classes at The Rivers are excellent and build confidence. I am deeply indebted to the team for this new opportunity.

  • What a fantastic place to have surgery, all the staff from reception to discharge were outstanding. The nurses were attentive and knowledgeable, the surgeon and anaesthetist calming and sociable. My procedure was straightforward and exactly as described. The preparation and recovery room was laid out like a hotel room, ensuite shower room, wall mounted TV, sandwich of choice and a lovely cup of tea when coming out of op. Can't find a single fault so much so I'm looking forward to my next surgery, not many people would say that 😁

  • Had full shoulder replacement on 29th November I have nothing but praise for consultant anthetist theatre staff and Lisa physio the wonderful caring nurses night and day catering staff who made things so easy as I am registered severely blind this is my 4rh op here and it is amazing in every way well done to all concerned.
