  • Following initial GP visit and then scan, I was referred to Woodthorpe Hospital for a Hernia op. Communication along the way, leading up to admission was informative, clear and just the right amount. On the day, all staff were welcoming and friendly. I was kept well informed on what was to come and nothing was too much trouble to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Operation went well and was given plenty of information in regard to recovery. Thanks to all.

  • Excellent service. From the moment of arrival, pre-surgery, surgical procedure and discharge after recovery was perfect. Added to that a light snack/drink to be enjoyed in private, clean room after coming round from aesthesia.

  • Woodthorpe hospital was amazing, my consultant Mr Yanni, was very kind and obviously very skilled. My procedure was explained to me and I felt that I was respected. The nursing staff were lovely and my room was clean and private. Thank you, a stressful day made easier because of such a pleasant experience.

  • When approaching North Downs Hospital, it looks a bit like Fawlty Towers. Thankfully that’s where the similarity ends. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The building is immaculately clean. Parking is easy and free. Can’t find fault with any aspect of my experience.

  • I had cataract surgery there. Its a lovely place, the staff are helpful too. Location wise, its very easy to reach, not any of the mayhem of opting for a larger establishment. Glad I chose Woodthorpe!
