  • I recently had cataract surgery carried out by Mr Peter Simcock. The anesthestist was Dr Chris Day and the nursing team were Rosalyn, Jan and Rena. The care provided was faultless by each member of the team. All parts of the procedure were clearly explained, and there were repeated checks to ensure the correct eye was identified. There was a lovely calm atmosphere and all the staff were kind and courteous. Gold standard service. Thank you.

  • Can not fault my experience, as a nhs patient I was lucky enough to be able to select this hospital , out of a group of around 8, the waiting times for an initial appointment and the length of time before treatment, made it a no brainer . In fact from start of my initial consultation to my operation was less than 3 months. My experience from the arrival for my consultation to leaving after my operation, and everything in-between, has been nothing but professional but also very friendly and everyone I came into contact with, from the catering staff, all the way up to the consultant, were extremely polite and helpful, nothing seemed to be a problem. The nurses that looked after me , always made time to make sure I was ok, from comfortable to pain management, they was superb. If your in for any sort of operation that us covered by this hospital, I would have no doubts in recommending the whole team
