He has published extensively and is widely cited in the field of Stroke, Atrial Fibrillation, Cerebral Microbleeds and Anticoagulation and has also researched extensively into modern MRI scanning techniques. His other areas of research include ‘preventative medicine in the older patient’, hypertension and vascular medicine.
