Miss Jane Leitch is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Ashtead Hospital in Surrey
Squint (strabismus) and double vision, Cataracts, Astigmatism, Red & itchy eyes, Allergic eye disease, Lid inflammation, blepharitis, blepharokeratoconjunctivitis, Chalazion, eye cysts, Sticky eyes (blocked tearducts), Eye infection, ROP screening, Neuro-ophthalmology, Visual Development and Vision screening.
Miss Leitch qualified from Westminster Hospital Medical School and trained in ophthalmology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield, North Yorkshire Senior Registrar Specialist Training rotation and Moorfields Eye Hospital, with Fellowships in Paediatric Ophthalmology at Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.
She has been instrumental in setting up the South West Thames clinical network for ophthalmology, was a founding member and first secretary of the Association of Ophthalmologists and she is a member of the Working Party on Non-Accidental Injury for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
She has previously been President of the Southern Ophthalmological Society and previous council member.
