Mr William Kuteesa is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Berkshire Independent Hospital in Reading
Mr Kuteesa has extensive general and emergency gynaecology experience having trained in the Oxford Deanery and practicing at Consultant level acquiring experience in all sub-specialties. He has gained considerable experience in the field of urogynaecology, practicing as part of a team in a variety of clinical environments. He was appointed to the Oxford Deanery Urogynaecology Rotation and received further preceptor training from a urogynaecology tertiary centre in Sydney Australia.
Mr Kuteesa teaches urogynaecological surgery including numerous endoscopic and mesh procedures. He is trained in hysteroscopic sterilisation and ablative techniques that are ideal for outpatient hysteroscopy services. He is proficient in gynaecological ultrasound and in the management of patients with gynaecological emergencies.
Mr William Kuteesa (MBBS, MRCOG, Cert.Ultrasound) qualified in 1994 from Guy’s and St Thomas' Hospitals, UMDS. London and in 2008 completed specialist gynaecology training.
