Academic background

Mr William Kuteesa has been a consultant specialising in gynaecology for over 20 years.

He qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas' Hospital Medical Schools in London. He was awarded Specialist Gynaecology Certification from the Oxford Deanery in 2008. During post-graduate training he was appointed to the Oxford Deanery Urogynaecology Rotation and undertook a Specialist Urogynaecology Fellowship in Sydney, Australia.

Mr. Kuteesa has extensive experience in all areas of Gynaecology. In addition to his private practice, he is a Consultant at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading where he is the leading gynaecologist looking after women who suffer from prolapse and incontinence. He is a skilled gynaecological sonographer and also provides early pregnancy scanning services.

Mr. Kuteesa maintains a keen interest in research, he gives seminars in gynaecology and trains Postgraduate Gynaecologists in laparoscopic and urogynaecological surgery.

Mr. Kuteesa prioritises individualised, women-centered care. He offers the latest management options in all areas of gynaecology and supports his patients in making the best decisions to optimise their treatment outcomes.
