Mr Fazel is was one of the very few surgeons to be awarded the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Cosmetic Fellowship where he gained extensive experience in a wide range of cosmetic procedures under leading Plastic Surgeons in the UK.
Outside medicine, Mr Fazel enjoys tennis, skiing and scuba diving. He is an assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and recently climbed Mt Kilimanjaro. He is also involved in a number of wildlife conservation projects in East Africa and regularly volunteers for charity health camps in the developing world.
Academic Background
Mr Fazel read medicine at Cambridge University (where he was awarded the University Prize in Surgery) followed by a residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in East Africa.
On his return to the UK, he trained at leading teaching hospitals in London, Paris and Milan. During his training, he was selected for a National Fellowship at the renowned Nottingham Breast & Reconstruction Unit, where he trained within the Plastic Surgery department.
To further his training, Mr Fazel undertook an additional cosmetic fellowship in the United States where he worked with internationally renowned Aesthetic and Plastic surgeons.
