Mr Bramall specialises in forefoot, midfoot and superficial rearfoot surgery. His particular interests are the surgical management of hallux valgus, big toe joint implant arthroplasty, minimally invasive surgery of chronic metatarsalgia and the flexible flatfoot. He perform over 600 foot procedures annually and he is happy to provide care utilising ultrasound guided local anaesthesthetic nerve blocks, with or without sedation, or general anaesthesia. Audit is important within his practice; PASCOM-10 and Manchester Oxford Foot Questionnaire completed by my patient's pre and post-surgery show a statistically significant improvement across the three domains of Walking/standing, Pain and Social interaction. Originally qualifying as a clinical podiatrist in 1988, He undertook further training and examination in Podiatric Surgery and gained the award of Fellowship of The Podiatry Association (FPodA) in 1994. Later that year he completed a foot and ankle residency under the guidance of world renowned Podiatrist, Dr Gary Dockery, DPM, Seattle, USA. In 1997, He gained the award of Fellowship of College of Podiatry (Surgery)FCPodS and CCPST. In 2007, He completed training in extra-osseous talotarsal stabilization (EOTTS) surgery with HyProCure implant at the Graham International Implant Institute, Macomb, USA and more recently in 2017, undertook training in minimal incision surgery under the instruction of Dr Mariano de Prado, Madrid, Spain.
