Fundamental to my approach is taking the time to listen to and examine my patients.
I was educated at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical School, during which he spent a year at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, gaining an BSc in Orthopaedic Sciences.
I completed MB BS (Hons) in 2001. My Basic Surgical Training was undertaken at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, after which I was appointed to the prodigious Senior SHO post in Orthopaedics at The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading.
This was followed in 2007 by five years as a Specialist Registrar on the North East Thames Royal London Hospital Training Programme, obtaining my FRCS in Tr & Ortho in 2011 and my CCT in 2013.
Since my appointment I have been developing an Osteotomy as well as a Hip Arthroscopy service within the York region. In October 2015 I was appointed onto the board of United Kingdom Knee Osteotomy Registry (UKKOR).
Research continues to be an important part of my ongoing professional development, I have published several scientific papers on various aspects of orthopaedics and have presented my work both nationally and internationally.
