Academic background

Mr Fay completed his undergraduate training at Salford in 1987. After extensive training he was awarded his Fellowship in podiatric surgery in 1996.

He took up his first consultant podiatric surgeon post in Ipswich in 1998.

He has held consultant posts in East Kent, Wolverhampton and since 2011 in Northumberland and North Tees.
