MRCP 1990 Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London) MD 1993 Dr Ward was awarded ‘Doctor of Medicine by Thesis' following external examination of her published Research into the Human Papillomavirus FRCP 2002.

Dr Ward was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London) in 2002, for which she was short-listed for the prestigious Goulstonian Lectureship National UK Guidelines 2018 British Association of Dermatologists and British Photodermatology Group guidelines for topical Photodynamic Therapy 2018. Dr Ward was invited to co-author the National UK guidelines for PDT
