Dr Benson is a clinical oncologist working at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge and Peterborough City Hospital. He qualified in medicine from St Bartholomew's Hospital in London. He undertook specialist training in Clinical Oncology at Addenbrooke's Hospital and was a visiting Senior Fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada from 1998-1999.
