Mr Wojcik graduated in 1974 from Medical University in Warsaw (previous name Medical Academy). All primary orthopaedic training was completed in Warsaw including specialisation in Orthopaedic Surgery, as well as Rehabilitation of locomotor disorders. In 1984 Mr Wojcik completed PhDthesis.Since 1986 Mr Wojcik has practiced in the UK, initially appointed as Spinal Surgical and Research Fellow in Spinal Unit / University of Nottingham. After completion of FRCS degree he was a senior registrar in Middlesex University College Hospitals in London, in the period 1991-1993. In 1993 Mr Wojcik was appointed for the post of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Hinchingbrooke Hospital, where Mr Wojcik treated a variety of spinal disordersWorking at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge (1997 - 2007 ) and The Spinal Unit of Nottingham University Hospital (2007 - 2011) Mr Wojcik was appointed as Honorary Spinal Surgeon at both hospitals.
