Clinical interests

Mr Kreckler is a specialist Vascular and Endovascular surgeon who treats conditions of the veins or arteries. He is part of a new generation of vascular surgeons trained in both traditional open surgical techniques and modern endovascular (keyhole) techniques. He does not undertake any general surgical procedures and specialises purely in vascular disease. Every patient is different and he will work with you to develop a bespoke treatment plan for your needs.

Academic background

Mr Kreckler is a specialist Vascular and Endovascular surgeon.

He studied medicine at Cambridge and Guy's and St Thomas', London, graduating in 2002 and undertook his surgical training in London and Oxford. He spent a year on a specialist Endovascular Fellowship at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. 

His Doctorate (MD) was in the evolving field of Patient Safety and Quality Improvement and his current research interests include pathway and systems improvement in Vascular surgery and in minimally invasive endovascular therapies. 




He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has a Diploma in Medical Education.
