Mr Taherian has over 23 years of experience in the field of Clinical Ophthalmology. Apart from being a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal Preston Hospital where he helps provide a comprehensive ophthalmic service at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, he is currently the National Lead Clinician for Ophthalmology, Health Education England (e-learning for healthcare), President of the North of England Ophthalmological Society (2015-2016), Editor - Ophthalmopaedia, Member Education committee & Chair of e-learning subcommittee, Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
