Mr Boden graduated from London in 2001 before training in London and the Northwest. He completed the Wrightington Young Adult Hip Fellowship before commencing a visiting Trauma and Limb Reconstruction Fellowship at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. A year spent as the Cavendish Hip Fellow gave unparalleled experience of complex revision hip and knee surgery and here, Mr Boden gained an interest in management of the infected joint replacement and complex revisions for significant bone loss. Mr Boden undertakes teaching and research into hip and knee surgery, with over 25 articles and abstracts published in peer-reviewed journals. He is also Clinical Governance and Infection Lead for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
