Having spent 16 years as the Senior Foot and Ankle Consultant in North Yorkshire, specialising in Trauma Orthopaedic and Sports disorders of the lower limb, there are few conditions which I have not yet encountered.

In performing over 15,000 operations and many more directed injections, my surgical outcomes are exemplary. I have specific interests in foot and ankle conditions such as bunions, big toe ankle and hindfoot arthritis. Ligament surgery and sports conditions of the lower limb. I have worked around the world, especially in Australia but am based in Leeds and York. I am one of the pioneering surgeons for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for hallux valgus and rigidus as well as forefoot deformities, which is the next development on from key-hole surgery. This gives excellent clinical outcomes and a quicker recovery. I have developed innovations in ankle and foot arthroscopic treatments, achilles repair and ligament surgery.

Whist my practice covers all patients. I have extensive experience treating elite athletes, British triathlon and ballet and contemporary dancers, premiership and local rugby union and league, premiership football and county cricket professionals.
