Ashley Watson has an undergraduate degree in Sports therapy and a master's degree in Physiotherapy.
Ashley went straight into working for professional sports and private practices, he has had experience working with Luton Town FC, Peterborough United and GB Bobsleigh, and is currently a consultant physiotherapist for UK athletics, and was recently team physiotherapist for the U20 European Championships in Finland this year (2025), and was recently in Switzerland working with the para wheelchair athletes.
Ashley has a strong interest in ACL rehab, due to the amount of strength and conditioning this involves, which is a strong passion for Ashley, this is linked to his athlete career, as Ashley is an previous Olympic athlete, he competed in the 2022 Winter Olympics, doing the sport Bobsleigh and is currently an International powerlifting athlete, who won the 2024 Commonwealth Bench Press Championships for England.
Ashley joined the Ramsay team in 2022, and since has provided patient specific rehabilitation plans for post-op and MSK conditions, and likes to have complex cases, making sure the cause of the issue is being treated not just managing the symptoms.
