I am a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon at The Yorkshire Clinic, Bingley, near Bradford and Leeds, with 25 years of experience as a consultant at a major NHS teaching hospital in West Yorkshire.
Throughout my career, I have been involved in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions, developing extensive clinical and surgical experience.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am actively involved in teaching, supervising and training the next generation of doctors and surgeons, including ENT surgical trainees, general practitioners and medical students.
My particular clinical interests include nose and sinus conditions, recurrent tonsillitis, hearing and balance disorders, and thyroid and neck conditions. I have performed thousands of tonsillectomies and have extensive experience in endoscopic sinus surgery and thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
I am also a core member of the regional thyroid and endocrine multidisciplinary team, including the thyroid cancer multidisciplinary team, contributing to the specialist assessment and management of patients with thyroid disease and thyroid cancer.
I believe in providing patients with a thorough assessment, clear explanations and treatment tailored to their individual needs. My approach is to help patients understand their condition and make informed decisions about their care, whether this involves medical treatment or surgery.
