Mr Jabri completed his medical degree at the University of Aleppo in 2003. He subsequently obtained MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England before being awarded FRCS (General Surgery) in 2022. He completed his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Surgery with subspecialist accreditation in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery in 2023 (KSS Deanery, UK). Following completion of training, Mr Jabri undertook a Royal College of Surgeons (England) approved Bariatric Fellowship at Royal Derby Hospital
He undertook a Clinical Research Fellowship in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery at King’s College Hospital, London, one of the UK’s leading transplant and HPB centres. During this time, he was actively involved in translational research in liver transplantation and immunology, contributing to multiple peer-reviewed publications and international presentations.
Mr Jabri has presented nationally and internationally, including at ASGBI, BOMSS, ILTS and the World Transplant Congress. He has a strong academic interest in minimally invasive Upper GI, bariatric and HPB surgery, and remains actively engaged in research, education and surgical innovation.
