Jeremy qualified at London's Imperial College School of Medicine in June 2000, completing basic surgical training in Oxford followed by higher surgical training here in the West Midlands. He is currently practicing as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular surgeon at both New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton and Russell's Hall Hospital, Dudley, as a member of the Black Country Vascular Network. Jeremy specialises in all areas of vascular surgery including: aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease, carotid artery disease, varicose veins. He has a keen interest in providing minimally invasive local anaesthetic solutions for varicose veins and thread veins. Trained in Duplex ultrasound, he uses this to identify and treat the varicose veins through a combination of treatment options tailored to individuals. Treatments available providing a comprehensive treatment plan for optimum results include: radiofrequency, ablation varicose vein stripping, micro-phlebectomies, sclerotherapy.

Jeremy undertook a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) at the University of Leicester writing his thesis on the complication of blood pressure disorders following carotid surgery. He has published and presented his findings both nationally and internationally.

His research interests have more recently included investigating optimal methods for providing minimally invasive varicose vein surgery: Nyamekye IK, Dattani N, Hayes W, Harding D, Holloway S, Newman J.
