He has successfully replaced hips in people as young as 16 to over 100 years of age. He offers a range of total hip replacements which are tailored to each patient’s needs and anatomy rather than a one size fits all solution.

Mr Norton is able to offer patient specific computer-guided surgery delivering tailored treatment plans for each patient under his care if required. He has been using the Optimised Positioning System (OPS) software since 2017 and is internationally recognised as being an expert in the interpretation and use of this system to enhance patient care and reduce risks of complications.

Mr Norton has a vast experience of over 20 years in the diagnosis and management of hip pain without obvious osteoarthritis in younger adults. His practice focuses on preserving the native hip joint wherever possible, while offering advanced resurfacing, or replacement solutions when preservation is no longer appropriate.

Mr Norton’s work spans the full spectrum of hip care, from non-operative management and minimally invasive techniques to complex open surgery.

Mr Norton undertakes over 300 hip replacements, 50 hip resurfacings and more than 50 hip arthroscopies each year, and would be delighted to help you with your hip problem.
