Building on this, he led Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust first ever retinal gene therapy programme treating children from around the world for rare form of blindness.

He regularly trains Ophthalmologists with many going on to take up Consultant posts in the UK and around the world. Having demonstrated excellence in the field of medical and surgical education he was awarded Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), in 2021.

He is dedicated to going above and beyond to provide the highest level of care for his patients with a compassionate, personalised approach.
